Clean & Dry
Wash and fully dry your upper eyelid. Skin must be free of oil, moisturizer, eye cream and makeup so the adhesive can grip.
How to Apply
Upper eyelids look more open and lifted in about 60 seconds. Finding your ideal placement takes a little practice — this guide shows you how.

Start here
Wash and fully dry your upper eyelid. Skin must be free of oil, moisturizer, eye cream and makeup so the adhesive can grip.
Peel a strip from the backing by its edge with your fingertip, touching the sticky side as little as possible. Looking straight ahead into a mirror, place the strip on the crease of your upper eyelid, curved side following the natural line of the lid.
Gently press the strip into place with your fingertip, from the center outward, for a few seconds so it sits flat.
Open your eyes and look straight ahead. Check the lift and that both eyes match. Not quite right? Peel it off gently and reposition, or use a fresh strip.
Finding your ideal placement takes a little practice. Most people find their spot within the first few tries.
Adjust your lift
Place a little lower on the eyelid, just below the crease. Softer, subtle effect.
Recommended starting point
Place so the top curve of the strip sits along your natural crease. Natural, balanced lift.
Place a little higher, just over the crease, for a more open look.
Every eyelid is different. Apply → Open → Check → Adjust. Once you find your spot, it becomes part of your routine.

Before application
Gentle removal
Use your fingernail to gently lift the strip at the top of its curve (the highest point of the arch), then slowly peel it off. Never pull hard on your skin. A little warm water or makeup remover helps loosen it. Each strip is single-use — use a fresh strip each time.

Double-sided application
Butterfly strips have adhesive on both sides. Placed in the fold of the upper eyelid, they tuck the lid up into a defined double crease.
